Great Chesterford Primary Academy – Resurfacing of Playground

Over the summer holidays, the Ashco team have been resurfacing the playground at Great Chesterford Primary Academy.

The works were carried out in the front and rear playground as well as the car park.

The site was set up and the area was cleared before works commenced and investigation of some of the area was carried out. This included moving planters and steps to be re-installed at the end of the project. Some of the drainage needed repairing so this was done first before beginning the excavation for the fencing, which was then installed. For the resurfacing, the area was prepped and excavation of the existing surface was undertaken before installing the new base and top coat. The planters and steps were replaced and the site was cleaned to finish off the project.
